The course includes the following:

 

  • The Lean Six Sigma DMAIC Methodology

  • Project roles and responsibilities

  • Identifying, scoping and selecting suitable projects

  • Project initiation

  • Tools to measure the current performance of a process

  • Tools to analyse the root cause of issues

  • Solution generation and selection methods

  • Launching improvements

  • Sustained control of improvements

At the end of the course candidates will:

 

  • Be confident with using the DMAIC methodology

  • Understand the value of key Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques and be confident at using these within the real world

  • Be able to identify and implement small improvements within BAU

  • Be effective project team members on small-medium sized projects

The Lean Six Sigma Overview programme provides an outline of the Lean Six Sigma methodology to enable delegates to support a Lean Six Sigma programme, project or in BAU.
