Lean Six Sigma Sponsor Training
The course provides overview training on the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and includes:
The role of the Sponsor
Sponsor responsibilities and accountabilities
Other project roles and responsibilities
Identifying, scoping and selecting suitable projects
The ojectives of the course are that delegates will:
Have a basic understanding of the DMAIC methodology and how Belts will use this to deliver successful projects.
Understand the value of good sponsorship.
Be confident to take on the role of a Sponsor.
The Sponsor programme is designed specifically for delegates who expect to sponsor Lean Six Sigma projects or programmes. The course provides a summary of the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma as well as a thorough understanding of the responsibilities and accountabilities of a Sponsor.
A combination of learning styles are accommodated in the training with information presented verbally as well as through practical exercises. Each delegate will be provided with a training manual at the start of the course.
The standard course duration is 0.5 days. However, this can be tailored to specific needs and requirements.
